It’s true that internet is full of scammers and there might be some scammer websites in the online surveys niche as well. However not all sites are scam and majority of websites are genuine ones that pay you for the survey and are safe to use. All you need is to find such good legitimate survey sites. It’s easy to find good survey sites as they are already well established and earned good reputation in the industry. So your first tip is to find good survey sites. Once you’ve joined good survey sites, next you need to is to get trained and learn the tips of making more money from surveys, This can be done by not be selective of the survey and bias them based on prize money or reward points etc. I suggest that you should take each and every survey you are eligible of.
Third and most important tip is never delay filling a survey you are eligible of. Many of the times surveys are only available for some time or limited to a number of users etc. Thus you must take the survey ASAP and never put it on hold.

Legitimate survey sites - How to find

Survey research is a legitimate and scientific process of acquiring data from the public, the information is used to develop new products, improve services and is used by health care providers, the government, businesses and others.

How can you tell the difference between a legitimate opinion poll or research survey, and a business that is trying to sell something? If you are not careful you could end up providing information that will be sold to third parties, or used to generate contact lists for the sales of all types of products and services. Legitimate survey research companies should never divulge your identity, personal information or individual answers unless you specifically give them permission. Also, they should never sell or give your name or phone number to anyone else. No one should ever contact you as a result of your participation except perhaps to validate your participation

Before you sign up for a market survey or opinion poll, question the survey if they are selling something, or will your participation in this survey result in your name and personal information to be sold to a company who will try to sell you something?
A legitimate research company does not try to sell you something. Legitimate researchers and professional marketing and opinion research firms do NOT ask for money or attempt to sell products or services.

Occasionally, survey research companies will offer a gift in appreciation of your cooperation. Such a gift could be a cash donation to a charity, a product sample or a nominal monetary award.

What do you do when a "research company" tries to sell you something?

Such companies are not survey research companies. While selling is not against the law, pretending to be "conducting" a survey, when it is not true, is certainly unethical. Survey research companies don't do this.

A legitimate survey site will ask for more that your name and email address. Read the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Read the "About" page for contact information such as company name, address and phone numbers, etc. Look for a privacy seal such at BBB, TrustE or Webtrust on the site. Avoid sites that have vague information about the business or the "about us" or contact page. Do not sign up if the terms of service say you need to complete "offers" in exchange for rewards.

How to Detect Paid Survey Scams

An online paid survey is good when the usage of it is for good intention. But, it is necessary to screen the big offers provided by many online survey providers before getting into them. If not, many service providers do not give the reward which they promise. Due to this many good paid surveys also get affected. People should consider many aspects before investing their time and money in the paid surveys. We must not fall for any false testimonials, documented proof, and guarantees. It is not necessary if some people have got money from the paid survey that others will also get, so do not follow blindly with the document proof provided by the company. Don't believe the guarantee promised by them, as it might also not be true. There are two types of online paid survey scams. The first method is the incentive offered will not be given after the work has been completed. The second method is getting money from the participants who access the online paid surveys. So the major part in identifying the scam is assessing the demographic requirements.Read and understand the terms and conditions or any other documents fully before getting into it, if any of the point is unclear and not able to understand, make it clear in the beginning itself. This has to be done in order to avoid any discrepancy or contradictions in the future. Before providing any personal information to the companies do some verification, as it can be misused sometimes. Avoid the sites which are not clear in answering the questions and doubts in a satisfactory manner. Have business only with the companies who have the post box address or email addresses for communication. Many paid survey scams make profit by selling the contact details of the participants to the marketing firms. After that, the marketing company keeps on contacting the participants through phone, and emails which will become a trouble to the people. Look whether the sites are registered. But some sites are registered by proxy and be aware of doing business with them. Check whether any complaints have been registered against any sites and on their owners, and even if there are none, it doesn't mean that they are not scam. It is not implied that all are satisfied by having business with them. It is just meant that no body has yet registered any complaints about those specific sites.Further, people can have a reference check with some of the scam forums like scam.com and ripoffreport.com for the experience of the customers who have been duped through paid online survey scams. But some messages posted might be dupe by the middlemen by telling that wonderful opportunity is available with some sites and they would have listed them. They will be paid good money or commission or referral fees for duping. But moderators do remove these types of messages, but it will be remaining in the site until the screening process has been done. But not all paid online surveys are scams; some do pay what they promise.

Save your paid surveys data till you get paid

This is one of the most important tip for paid surveys taking people. After you have signed up with one or more survey company websites, you will start receiviing e-mails ot undertake paid online surveys or sign up wirh certain trial offers. Sometimes you also recieve e-mails that are from outside website these website are normally partner and/or affiliate websites of the surveys websites you sign up.

As these websites are of others sometime it may not be possible for surveys websites to track the paid online survey or trial offer you undertook sucessfully, but it doesn't mean that you will not be paid for those paid surveys or trial offers. Most of the survey websites make those corrections normally al you have to do is never delete that particular email till you are paid for that. If any particular survey is not being shown in your accout you can send an email to support deptt and they will happily make the changes.

Hope this will add some more to your paid surveys earnings.

Best wishes.
